It is a well made beautiful bed. It took me and my husband 2 hours to assemble it. We used a 14 inch mattress to give it a little more height. The bed has excellent instructions. We did make one or two mistakes that we had to correct, but mainly because they involved parts that were too difficult to picture accurately - we take responsibility for that.
