Fantastic tub! It took me a LONG time to find this one. Only 2 inches taller than the old tub (no tripping hazard!) but just over 4 inches more soak depth (yes, please!). Simple, clean lines. It's narrower than my old tub, but allows for my legs to be stretched straight while leaning against the back (32" inseam). I did take some advice I'd found online and from friends of putting some insulation batting in the long side with the drop front on it. The 60x30” classic American style solid surface freestanding resin stone soaking tub exceeded my expectations. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. The tub is very deep. The length of the tub is only 5 ft minus the large edge around the back of the tub. A tall person may find it a bit tight. All was in working order. Our only disappointment which is why I didn’t rate it five stars was it came poorly packaged. The tub was just sitting in the box, nothing to protect the corners, nothing wrapped.
