I specifically chose HDPE because I wanted something that would hold up to the extreme Arizona heat better than fabric loungers, which tend to deteriorate over time. My only real complaint is comfort. The chairs definitely need cushions—they’re not very comfortable to lie on without them, and the HDPE surface gets quite hot when sitting in direct sunlight. The other issue was the product description. The listing made it sound like there were two chairs per package, so I thought I was ordering four chairs. I was surprised when only two arrived. The description could be much clearer to avoid that confusion. Overall, these are attractive, well-built chaise lounges that should last for years outdoors. I purchased four of these chairs in the navy blue. There was some assembly required but was straight forward and took me about half an hour per chair by myself to put together. The cushions are super comfy and dry quickly. I have only had them about a month but really like them so far.
