The bed is definitely all hard wood. It’s not the type of hardwood you could sand and refinish in the future. It also arrived without any broken pieces. It’s a pretty bed, but we are giving it a 45 because we wanted something subtle. The bed is kind of big and the headboard is massive. The advertisement has a large mattress and the decorative pillows hide just how big it is. I can’t imagine what kind of room this would fit in. We also wish it was held together with more hardware.. LOVE the look of this bed. I have a small space was worried about the perimeter size but it’s perfect not too low to the ground. I was unable to use WayFair assembly service (due to no fault of theirs), so I hired someone to build it. They noted that certain measurements were “slightly off” making assembly more difficult.
