Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. So far I love these sheets! They are comfortable and not slippery like other sheets I had. They washed up nicely. I especially like the extra deep pockets on the fitted sheet. The only negative thing is these sheets had a strange smell when I opened the package. But after I washed them on warm water and with an extra rinse, there's no more smell. Some reviews said they were wrinkly but not if you get them out of the dryer as soon as they are done. There are a few minor wrinkles but nothing I can't live with.
