The mesh seat and back provide breathability ( absolutely necessary in St. Louis humidity!), and dry quickly after a rain. These are good looking chairs at a reasonable price. They are lightweight but sturdy. The pillow on the back is a little smaller in overall size than the photo seems to show but it is fine. Amazing value for the money. These are solid chairs and very good looking. Other than having to be assembled, they rival much more expensive chairs. They arrived packed very well with zero damage. One word of warning. The metal in the screws appears very soft and it’s very easy to strip the stews if you over tighten or use power tools. Be careful and go slowly. Lovely Chairs. They feel sturdy and look great. They are a modern take on similar all wood vintage chairs that I am replacing. Two negatives: 1)The chairs at the time I ordered them were advertised as No Assembly - FALSE. I am perfectly capable of assembling items but I find chairs need constant re-tightening. I wanted a screw-less product. 2) One of the four back nuts on just one of the four chairs I ordered misaligned with the provided screw and then twisted out from the back.
