Nice looking and sturdy gazebo. Took me about 7 hours with no help, but 2 ladders came in handy. Wood seems soft and marks or dents easy. A couple of bolt holes were offset and in one of the front black from cross brackets, there was no hole at all. Otherwise, we love it overall.. Art. Oceanside, CA. Sat Oct 10 2026

Love my new gazebo! Luckily my very handy husband has the patience & skills to read the directions carefully and put it all together. This hardtop gazebo is good quality, but when we assembled it, we found some parts missing. It comes in 4 boxes, and they're heavy and huge. But we had to contact Wayfair to get some of the missing parts replaced, and they were very helpful. Hopefully these crucial parts will arrive soon so we can finish the assembly. The gazebo will be sturdy and the black finish is really nice-looking. I also like that it has curtains for privacy, and the included mosquito netting is a big plus.. Tom. Long Beach, CA. We read the reviews for this gazebo and purchased it despite the naysayers. We got a local quote to assemble it for $3,600. No thanks, we Just finished assembling the gazebo itself. It took a total of 20.5 hours over 5 days, including unboxing, parts inventory, staging and assembly. 16 hours with two people and 4.5 hours with 3 people. overall quality and engineering is pretty good. Only a couple of screw holes required modification (wall anchors). Instructions are not great, but usable if you read them several times and take your time. If you want to DIY this gazebo, make sure you have a couple of good step ladders, a decent cordless drill and 2 or 3 6-foot folding tables for laying out parts and to work on. If you try and assemble this kit with the tools provided, it will take you at least twice as long, maybe longer. Plan on working no more than 4 hours a day...it is tedious and tiring. Also, cooler weather and overcast days are better. We are a 65-year-old couple in decent health. If we can do this, anyone can with proper preparation, tools and patience.... Anonymous. Create a spacious outdoor destination for dining, entertaining, and relaxing with this large cedar wood gazebo. Its generous covered layout brings natural warmth and functional shelter to patios, backyards, and outdoor gathering spaces.

CHEAP ALL THE WAY AROUND, INCLUDING THE HARDWARE PROVIDED. EVERYTHING IS SUPPOSED TO BE PREDRILLED OR MARKED ON WOOD. HOWEVER, DOWEL HOLES DRILLED ON WRONG SIDE AND TOO DEEP. WHEN DOWEL WAS INSERTED WENT RIGHT THROUGH THE WOOD, CRACKED WOOD, CRACKED ROOFING. ALSO, I NOTICE ON THE HORIZONTAL WOOD PIECES IT APPEARS DOWELS HOLES WERE DRILLED BUT ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS, NOTING IS MENTIONED ABOUT INSERTING DOWELS IN THESE HOLES WHICH WOULD GIVE MORE SUPPORT. I JUST HOPE IT'LL SURVIVE THE WINTER. NOT SURE IF THE ROOF COULD HANDLE THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW. UGH. I WOULD UPLOAD PHOTOS BUT I CAN'T DO IT RIGHT NOW. MAYBE WHEN I HAVE MORE TIME. Jan. I've purchased several things through Wayfair and each of those was a pleasant experience. This hard-topped gazebo is beautiful now that it is complete and it looks impressive in our yard. We look forward to many years of use. But, it had a couple of misleading aspects to it The estimated construction time mentioned on the item's site was grossly understated. Even with the help of a second person for certain tasks, it took me more than 4 times the estimate in the listing -- and I am pretty experienced at constructing similar things. The product's installation instructions were nicely illustrated, but several parts were mis-labled in the instructions and several of the instructions didn't cover crucial details. More instructions and more explicit details would have been very useful. Some instructions were so ambiguous that I had to try out more than one possibility, going back and re-doing certain things. That is the product manufacturer's fault, though. Wayfair's transaction went very well. They are efficient, speedy, accurate and responsive. One quibble: in the time between placing my order and receiving the shipping confirmation (just a couple of days), the gazebo's price dropped almost $100. It would have been nice of them to give me the reduced price.. Thomas. MI. Sun Aug 09 2026
