The umbrella is fantastic. First, it came in 3 and 1/2 days, was well packaged and ready to use. It is quite sturdy and has an easy to use crank mechanism for raising and lowering the shade. The safety pin is an asset, something that is not always present. The umbrella seems a bit wider than 9’ as it provides great coverage for a standard 6 seater table. The market umbrella is the perfect blend of durability, functionality, and modern aesthetics! Its generous canopy offers you and your guests ample shade to protect you from the sun's rays while you enjoy your time outdoors. And it gets even better! The crank lift system allows you to open and close the umbrella with minimal effort. The umbrella features a sturdy steel frame, ensuring durability over time. Compared with our classic minimal design, this upgraded style umbrella comes with a sagging surrounding rim on the edge of the canopy, adding a touch of beauty and a relaxed atmosphere to the umbrella. It's perfect for the romantic garden, eyeful beach, deck, poolside, patio etc.

Okay so here’s the thing: this came without the base so I literally can’t tell you how it performs outside yet. That said, the umbrella itself? Quality. Steel frame, weather-resistant fabric, decent weight to it (15.2 lbs), crank lift system feels smooth. The octagonal shape with the drape edge detail is cute—gives it that upgraded market umbrella vibe instead of the basic look. The beige color is exactly what it looks like online. Pole diameter is 1.5” so standard if you’re sourcing your own base. Once I actually get a base and test it through some real sun/wind (it’s rated for 16 mph), I’ll update with the actual performance. But from a quality standpoint? This thing is built to last.. Khifindsit. Connecticut. Sat Jul 04 2026
