This 48 inch tropical leaf blade fan is absolutely beautiful and adds elegance and style to any room, especially an outdoor covered porch. We used this fan to replace a small 20” ceiling fan on our covered back porch. The remote is easy to operate the fan, and even on a low setting, the fan gives a nice breeze. The fan comes with two drop down rods, a 5” rod and a 10” rod. We used the 10” rod. We have the light set to the cool light (6000K), but it can be set to warm light (3000K) or a neutral light (4500K). The fan blades are plastic, as well as the light dome is plastic, so it should be easy to clean and the blades hopefully won’t warp. Overall I am very pleased with this fan and would buy again.. Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent.
