This bench is a beautifully crafted piece that will serve as a dining bench in the breakfast room of our mountain house. It is heavy and stable. (about 70 pounds). Can seat 3 kids...The alder top finish looks very red and I may have to stain it darker as it doesn't match my alder pieces. The packing was overkill and very difficult to unpack. The Quen vanity is a heavy, very solidly made vanity, with tons of storage space both in the 6 drawers and open cabinet areas. One feature that shows its quality craftmanship is that the vanity is painted inside and out, so that opening a door or drawer doesn't reveal a pine or MDF interior that makes the whole vanity look cheap. The storage and quality were the main reasons that I chose this vanity. Now that it's installed, I'm happy with everything except for the sinks -- they are surprisingly small for such a large vanity, and they're set back from the front edge and closer to the left & right sides. This has the plus that you end up with a large amount of central countertop space, but you have less sink area to work in and the placement forces the medicine cabinets/mirrors to the outside of the vanity. This is great if you need lots of counterspace (although that's why I wanted all the drawers), but it creates aesthetic and logistical challenges. I think the piece looks very nice and aesthetically pleasing. However, I do feel the price is too high for what you get. Once assembled, it does not feel very sturdy. The structure seems somewhat weak, especially considering the cost. One major issue is that the top section does not fully align or securely attach to the bottom section. It only has two small connectors holding both parts together, which makes it unstable. When you push it slightly, it leans backward, which is concerning. The material quality itself seems decent, but the overall construction is not strong. Out of all the furniture I have purchased from Wayfair, this is the one I’ve liked the least.. Patricia.
