This was a really nice piece but I think it’s short by about an inch. It was pretty darn close, but the other side was perfect so not sure how this was off. Either way construction and quality are excellent!. Ketrin. Huntington Beach, CA. Mon Jan 22 2024

This sink grid is WAY more expensive than any other and the first one shipped came damaged and actually left rust marks on a new fireclay sink. I thought stainless steel did not rust...and the silicone encased feet were damaged so that two feet peeked through and left rust marks.. Anonymous. Sun Aug 09 2026

We've had this for about a year now and I have no complaints. If I could do it again, I would just get the basic version without the ledge for the accessories. We almost never use these accessories and the ledge is just something else to be cleaned. It's awkward to use the cutting board because the sink is undermounted to 2cm stone. The knife handle hits the stone when trying to cut on the cutting board. The drying rack could be nice, but it's not big enough for us and we have a dedicated drying rack.. Anonymous. The Shaker™ apron front fireclay sink is a modern interpretation of the 1897 original. Named for the design movement that believed less is more, this Shaker farmhouse sink takes a minimalist approach. Instead of the iconic apron front with rounded corners, the Shaker has a clean, rectangular shape with squared-off sides and thinner walls for a slimmer, more minimal look. Durable and lustrous, its classic farmhouse roots and authenticity are always apparent. And like all Shaws sinks, the Shaker is made by hand to last a lifetime.

This is the original, the one that’s set the standard for all Fireclay farmhouse sinks with the classic apron front design. The Lancaster™ is made by hand in the same way since 1897 and is still in use today in 100-year-old English homes. Named for the county of Lancashire, the region where Shaws® sinks are made, the Lancaster has thicker walls and a lustrous surface that’s glazed not once, but twice. Durable, distinctive, and authentic, the Lancaster is for those who seek an original and believe that making a statement is one they make for themselves.
