I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. This last winter it was reversed, main coverage and the lighter weight bedspread for extra warmth. Wow! This seems to be high quality stuff. It definitely works best with a duvet cover to prevent the feathers from being an issue over time. It is really heavy and I wouldn’t necessarily call this an all season comforter. It’s probably better for fall and winter months. Right away it did bother my nose when it came out the packaging as is. It arrives very compressed so you will be need to follow the care instructions to fluff it up. I was a bit confused as it seems to be dry clean only If you have pets or small children that may mean it gets funkier sooner rather than later. Not super practical in that regard but maybe it will be okay to wash on a very delicate cycle The wrinkles were pretty noticeable even after letting it breathe per the instructions so I’m hoping that will improve with time. What a great price for a king size down comforter. It came packed in a very small box and extremely compressed.
