I couldn’t be happier with the quality of these chairs. The bases were installed in 10 minutes and the craftsmanship is excellent. They arrived on schedule. Thank you Wayfair for an excellent product.. Wendy. The Villages, FL. Thu Oct 08 2026

Designed with a minimalist but warm feel, this armchair offers clean lines and cozy comfort. It's made from a solid rubber wood frame and has classic square arms and a tight back. Pocket spring seats provide extra support below, while the blend of foam and polyester fill helps cushion the seat and back. Genuine full-grain leather upholstery finishes off the look with a sleek, sophisticated touch that complements all sorts of different decor styles. Plus, with an array of hues, it's even easier to find a complementary color palette.

The chairs are large and comfortable. The leather is soft but not the softest of leathers. As far as quality, this is a mid-quality leather product. The chairs I received don’t look exactly as they are shown on the site, specifically the back rest (see picture). Expect a a wrinkled softer look. Also, the back rest is attached to the chair which prevents me from readjusting the inside or adding more filling. I would not pay full price for this chair but I am satisfied for what I got them for. Wayfair stands behind their products and customer service is top notch. The delivery crew was also outstanding.. Available in three leather finishes — blue/gray, brown, and gray— the Rael Accent Chair adapts effortlessly to both modern and classically styled interiors, making it as versatile as it is refined. At its core is a solid wood and plywood frame engineered for lasting structural integrity. The loose seat cushion is padded with high-density foam over pocket coils — a construction more commonly found in premium sofas than accent chairs — delivering a sit that feels genuinely supportive rather than merely decorative. The attached back cushion provides consistent shape and a tailored, put-together look that holds up over time. The exterior is wrapped in 100% top-grain genuine leather, with split-grain leather matched to the sides and back for a cohesive, tailored appearance. Soft rolled armrests and a gently contoured silhouette give the Rael its transitional character, while hand-applied nailhead trim along the arms and base adds an artisan detail that elevates the overall profile. Exposed espresso-finished wood feet ground the piece with warmth and contrast. Whether positioned beside a fireplace, in a bedroom reading nook, or anchoring a living room conversation area, the Rael brings understated sophistication without demanding the spotlight.

I am very happy with my chairs. The size and color are just as expected. I did order samples of upholstery, which I highly recommend. By doing so, as seen in the photos, I was able to match very closely with my footstools. The seaming is beautifully done. HOWEVER, the reason for my four stars, is that the seat cushion extends several inches over the edge of the chair as seen in the photo. I’m quite sure this will affect how the seat wears over time..
