This table lamp gives off equestrian vibes, with its mix of metal and leather. Plus, it has a thin, round, base and an open metal body with leather details that remind us of horse tack. A classic linen empire shade rests on top to cover an LED bulb that's included with this lamp. Place this on your desk for some extra light as you finish work or on a side table so it's easier to enjoy that spaghetti western you've been meaning to watch.

Ian Thornton designed the Mithra brass table lamp with its powerful brutalist profile. The cast aluminum lamp has all of the attributes that make foundry pieces so special, such as the drifts of stippling on the metal's surface. The antique brass finish highlights the texture to bring the gold lamp the feel of a vintage piece. Thornton was inspired by a mid-century modern sculpture when he designed the Mithra. The honed granite base and the off-white shantung shade are clean-lined elements that leave the sculpture to shine.

Nice looking lamp -ordered because I needed a rectangular shade. Only problem is the finial fitting didn't work. Customer service was great - sent me a replacement lamp because no replacement part available at the time.. Kristine. Scottsdale, AZ. Tue Sep 16 2025

I don’t normally write reviews, but I want to tell people when you unbox it, you actually might not like it. You might think it is way too expensive for what you get, but be patient because when you set it up, it is absolutely stunning! I thought it was glass for some reason, but it is not and it felt cheap, and way too lightweight for the price so I was not happy at all and almost did not even put it together, but wow once I did, it’s gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous! Never judge a book by its cover wow that is so true in this case. It looks much prettier in person too when set up than it does coming out of the box.. Helen. Dallas, TX. Lovely lamp. Product as shown and described. Only difference is that it is a continuous switch rather than a 3-way and the label on the lamp suggests a maximum 60 watt rather than 100 watt bulb, which works for our location.
