Alexander Home Madaline Handhooked Wool Rug

This handmade Persian-style rug has a scrolling floral pattern that gives any living room or bedroom floor a whole new look. It's hand-tufted from 100% wool, so it's sure to stand up to the occasional splash or spill. It has a medium 0.55" pile that's made for rolling out in busy living rooms or playrooms and provides a bit of padding while remaining easy to clean. And our favorite feature of all? This rug comes in the size of your choice, so you can choose which one works best for your home. Just keep in mind that even though it has a cotton- and latex-blend backing, it performs best when paired with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding.

Prettiest rug Ive ever bought.. Sharon. Cincinnati, OH. Thu Oct 15 2026

This hand-tufted area rug has a traditional Persian-style floral pattern that brings antique character (and warmth) to any farmhouse living room or bedroom. It's made clean from 100% New Zealand wool that's made to last, so it's sure to stand up to the occasional spill or dropped plate. Looks aside, it has a medium 0.38" pile that's just right for rolling out in high-traffic living rooms or dining spaces prone to occasional spills (like under the kitchen table), plus it's easy to clean (just don't use a beater bar). Our favorite feature of all? This handmade wool rug comes in the size of your choice, so you can choose which one works best for your home. Just keep in mind that even though this rug has a thick cotton backing, it performs best when paired with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding underfoot.

The carpet is the perfect color combination. Elegant yet practical.. Cristina. Severna Park, MD. Thu Oct 01 2026

Nice rug especially for this price.. Lydia. Watchung, NJ. Wed Oct 21 2026

Bring classic style with a modern finish to your living room or dining room with this area rug. It features a central medallion pattern in shades of gray and navy over a cream background with a geometric motif. Hand-tufted from wool, this area rug has a cotton and latex backing that works with a rug pad to make this rug stay put on your floor. We love that this rug's 0.43" pile height provides warmth and cushioning underfoot while still being easy to clean – simply vacuum it whenever it needs a refresh.

Love the quality! Very well padded. Shed a little on the first several vacuums but the red color has not discolored our white baseboards in the hallway.. Naomi. Terre Haute, IN. Thu Oct 08 2026

This hand-woven area rug brings a vintage-inspired look to your living room or entryway. It's crafted from wool, offering a soft texture underfoot that complements your existing decor. This is a thin but beautiful rug. There are various shades of blue.. Anonymous. Sat Sep 19 2026

This elegant hand-knotted rug features serene seafoam tones complemented by ivory and muted accents in a graceful floral layout.

I am obsessed with this rug! It is absolutely beautiful, the quality is excellent, and I really appreciate that it is made by hand. I originally bought the 2x3 size for my bathroom vanity and loved it so much that I ordered a second one for beside my bed. The colours are gorgeous. They shift subtly depending on the lighting and how much natural sunlight is coming in. I’ve included photos to help with colour matching. In the bathroom, where I first put it, this rug looks amazing and complements the log walls and my cotton shower curtain in the colour bone perfectly. On the bed, the rug is layered over an organic percale quilt in hazel chambray (recently purchased from Wayfair), along with a chenille windowpane throw in flax. At the foot of the bed, you can see a 4x6 moss gray/stone rug that I bought from Wayfair five years ago. Finally, on the floor by the bedside, I’ve placed this 2x3 rug right next to a 2x3 version of the moss gray/stone rug for a side-by-side comparison. Compared to the moss gray/stone rug, this wool rug is about ¼ inch thicker and feels more "plush" underfoot, while the other has a slightly silkier texture and shorter fringe. I love both styles of rugs. Highly recommend!. Roxanne. Ontario, Canada. Mon Aug 24 2026

This area rug has a floral design with purposeful fading for a vintage look that brings French country style to your space. It's power-loomed in Turkey from a blend of polypropylene, and polyester. We love that the high-low pile effect gives this rug an even more intricate look: Swirling ivory buds and vines stand out on the smooth gray, taupe, and charcoal background. This area rug has a 0.47'' pile height which makes it perfect for medium-traffic areas like your dining room or home office. Make sure to pick up a rug pad to keep it in place underfoot. Hand-curated by Kelly Clarkson.

Rug looks beautiful and is super soft. We also got a rug pad for underneath (1/4”) that makes the rug even softer to walk on. Fast shipping and packaged well. We got the 9x12 foot size and the rug was folded in half and then rolled, but it’s been laid out flat for 24 hours and flattening out quickly. Definitely happy with this purchase. Picture is right after we opened it up and we still need to trim the rug pad underneath once the carpet flattens out.. Chelsea. Telford, PA. Fri May 29 2026

This Oriental rug features intricate floral motifs, a distinctive border, and faded ivory and red hues that bring a traditional feel to any room. A hand-hooked technique is used to weave the wool threads together, and its 0.38" pile height provides ample cushioning underfoot in living rooms, entryways, and dining areas. Plus, this rug is stain-resistant, so it's perfect for busy homes. Even though it has a cotton backing and is safe for heated floors, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad (sold separately).

The quality is wonderful. I’m sure it’s going to shed a bit given that it’s wool, the only thing I would say is that the colors are a bit different than this picture shows.. Luckily it’s still matches.. Mary Beth. Portland, OR. Sat Sep 05 2026

Inspired by the antique Persian rugs we drool over in our favorite design magazines, this handmade wool area rug is crafted by skilled artisans with a sea foam green and ivory floral medallion pattern. Its deliberately distressed, weather-worn finish makes sure to add a historical feel to everywhere from newly built homes to traditional farmhouse layouts. But our favorite feature of all is this rug’s hand-knotted construction, which prevents it from excessive shedding while making sure that it lasts for years. Put it under the coffee table in a formal dining room to add a little visual interest or in a mudroom ready for the aftermath of a day at the beach—no matter where you decide to display it, be sure to place a rug pad underneath to help keep it in one place.

I was a little nervous about this rug and the colors. But I absolutely love it. There’s more blue than shows in the advert picture. Great quality.. Mary Beth. Portland, OR. Sat Sep 05 2026

This Oriental rug features a traditional floral motif that fills any space with a classic look we love. It's handmade from wool using a hooking technique, and it comes in orange and blue tones over a striking taupe background. A thick 0.5" pile height adds a cushioning effect to floors in low-traffic areas like your home office, bedroom, or den. To care for this indoor area rug, vacuum with no rotating brush, spot-clean with a dry cloth or water, or get it professionally cleaned. We recommend pairing it with a rug pad sold separately to keep it from shifting and sliding about.

It’s amazing!!! Pictures makes it look a bit more bluegrey - but I would say it comes across more sage in person. Perfect for our nursery!. Shelby. Dallas, TX. Sat Apr 18 2026

This Oriental area rug anchors your space with classic style and a intricate floral medallion pattern. It's crafted from wool for natural quality that feels textured and soft underfoot. The space-dyed design brings visual depth, while its stain-resistant properties easily handle occasional spills and everyday foot traffic. Plus, the low-profile surface glides beneath doors and furniture without snagging. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Beautiful thick wool quality rug! Colours are slightly more pastel than expected. I bought a pad to go underneath which eliminates any slippage and made it extra cushioney! Highly recommend! 5 star authentic! Going to get new coffee tables to show it off!. Carol. Summerlin. Las Vegas. Sat Oct 03 2026

Through a carefully considered combination of traditional pattern, texture, and soft colors, the Victoria collection offers traditional rugs for today’s home. Finely hooked, each Victoria design is accentuated by a looped texture.

We love this rug! Gorgeous colors, bright, nice contrast, & a beautiful design too! The blue colors are pretty, more of a "navy" color when the room is darker & mostly a beautiful "teal" color when the room is light. The wool is soft & has a very nice texture! Our living room (sofa, chairs, ect...) is very neutral & this rug really "brought it all together" in a light, lively contrast. We would buy this rug again!. Debra. St. George, UT. Wed Aug 12 2026

Okay I scoured Wayfair forever for a wool rug that would work in the living room. I honestly took a chance on this rug because it looked completely different from other people’s pictures depending on the lighting so I had no idea what I was going to get. It’s cloudy today so here is a picture of it with my overhead lights off vs on. The blue is definitely more grey like others have mentioned. Light shedding and some random discolored threads throughout.. Hailey. Edwardsville, IL. Wed Sep 23 2026

Deep charcoal-brown undertones blend with sapphire, gold, and soft neutral florals in this richly detailed Oushak-style rug.

Nice quality rug. I ordered the runner for my hallway. It has quite a bit more blue and gray than I expected, but I still like it.. Jodi. Overland Park, KS. Sat May 16 2026
