Overall it's a really nice piece, especially for the price. The distressing of the wood is SLIGHTLY different than the pictures on Wayfair... but maybe each unit is different, being that it is real wood. Also, the drawers don't open as much as I'd like... probably only half way, which would be hard if you had smaller items in the drawers that would get "lost" in the back of the drawer. In the pictures, the drawers are open as much as they go. They are fine with what I plan on using this dresser for, but it's worth mentioning. My disappointment came when I realized that it is a COMPLETE assembly required piece of furniture... absolutely everything needs to be assembled. My fault for not reading the spec's. Fortunately, I have experience with this sort of thing, so while it was daunting to start with so many pieces of wood, metal drawer sliders and hardware... it was do-able. Instructions say it requires 2 people, but it can be a one person job without much difficulty. It took me several hours and patience with the assembly instructions, but I got through it. The instructions are not as clear as they could be, and steps 12-14 are out of order. When you get to step 12, don't proceed. Instead go to step 14, then 15, then back to 12 & then 13. Excellent dresser! The colors were a bit darker than the reference image (I got oak). Still gorgeous! The dresser is mostly acacia with some rubberwood. Very heavy, very durable, very high quality. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco. It’s very very heavy. Be forewarned. The assembly isn’t too challenging but takes time. I did it entirely by myself. The disappointment come from the shallow draws. Even though it measures nearly 16”, they don’t open more than half way, so you need to removed them completely if you want to gain access to the rear of the drawer. Mine has a chip blemish on the top of it, which is a bummer but is otherwise fine. It looks good and is two separate pieces which can be handy if you don’t have a really large wall.. Jason. I love the nightstands, and the assembly was very easy. There were some issues with finish on both stands. There is peeling laminate on both, and there are areas in which the stain is too dark (and looks like freckles), and where there is very little stain present. There is also an area on one nightstand where the finish is very rough and bumpy. The peeling veneer is a real concern . Hopefully, it doesn’t occur in other areas with use.. Patricia. We got the Mocha finish. Slightly lighted in person than pictured, but solid quality. No veneers or particle board here! Easy to put together. Took 2 people 30 mins with a few power tools.
