Important Installation Notice: This protruding niche requires a pre-framed wall cavity and cannot be installed directly over finished walls. The listed 60×32"tub surround dimensions do NOT include the niche’s required 3-1/8" depth behind the tub wall. Ensure your wall opening matches the niche’s exact dimensions (55-3/8" W × 11-3/4" H × 3-1/8" D) before installation. First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown.
