This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. We’ve actually purchased this bed frame twice this year! We first bought the queen size for ourselves and were very happy with it. A couple of months later, we decided to upgrade to a king-size bed, so we gave the queen frame to our son and purchased the exact same bed frame again in king size. We love the quality. It’s made from solid wood, feels sturdy and well-made. It works with our new 16-inch-high mattress and adjustable base, although the headboard does look a little short with such a tall mattress and base. Overall the main bed frame has been solid - no shaking, which is what I was worried about. The headboard is another story, that part is not as well constructed so it's more decoration. It's also overall bigger that a Cal King mattress so there is an open space on either the top or bottom (picture), the sides are an exact fit.
