I was completely losing one of my succulents and my lavender plant. As soon as I received, it was setup and I placed the two dying plants in it. The greenhouse is so sweet looking . It was delivered a day early. There is a lot of pieces but we laid everything out and it was all there. I am 60 and my husband is 65 and we put this up in 2 1/2 days because it was a rainy week. We had no extra help but I would recommend 3 people cause my husband is very good with building . We plan to plant cucumbers or pole beans in this rolling garden bed. Maybe tomatoes. Still dickering over what vegetables go in which of our bed. When I saw this, I thought how nice it would be -- a single planter with its own trellis/case, and it rolls, so if needed we can quickly move it in case of a bad storm, etc. It was fairly easy to put together, even with the non-textual instructions. Pictures are ok, but they don't always give the complete advice. I had trouble with the cage portion - you use the smaller rods for the horizontal pieces, and the longer ones for the vertical. In the end, we were left with a mismatched number and could not build the top layer. That's ok - I can't imagine this going higher! This is nice, but.... It took a lot longer to put together than I wanted. The wood is not finished, so you need to do that yourself. That also adds to the cost. I bought a "green" varnish for the inside and regular for the outside. Be careful not to split the wood screwing together the boxes if you are off center. they are sturdy once you have the dirt in them, but seem a bit flimsy when empty. Be careful filling them, as I had my neighbor help me fill with his john deer and we had to go very slowly and level the dirt in layers so it didnt warp the shape. I've been looking for additional planters on wheels that are made of sturdy material. I can't say enough good things about this. In all fairness, I put it together last week and planted it then as well. I really like the self-watering piece and the gauge to let you know to add water is very clear. However, I planted small new annuals in it which are short. I have supplemented with watering on top since I'm not sure that the plants have a mature enough root system to pull up the water they need. I will probably get another one soon. The greenhouse looks great! After a few wrong turns, I got it set up. There were a few instances in the instructions where additional steps or diagrams couldve helped, but overall, it is an easy build for one person in about an hour. I dont feel it will be sturdy to move very often-- even with the wheels and handle on one side. Even assembled, without any soil, it isnt as sturdy as I wouldve hoped, but it will do the job.. Sara.
