Putting this swing together was a bit challenging at first because a few of the screws seemed incorrect, but once everything was tightened with a wrench, it came together beautifully. This took me about 2 hours to put together with Vanna White-esq help from my 12 year old. Directions are just pictures, so there are a few things I had to go back and fix cus the directions didn’t explain one part should happen first when screwing in pieces in each step. Update the replacement parts arrived earlier than expected and I didn’t have any problem putting it together after that. I especially like that there’s a little pocket on the hammock. I accidentally submitted this review too early. The chair arrived about a week ago, but parts of the stand were dented and can’t fit together. It’s actually wonderful. I was looking at a lighter colored swing, but this one is perfect and it has etching on the back so it shows as designs.
