I purchased these for a new construction. They ran wires only. No terminations. The package says easy. What can go wrong? Everything. I started with the diagram on the package and on the connector. I followed the color code and tested the connection. It failed. I work with electronics and wiring. I'm not a rookie. So, I started all over again and it failed. I tried many combinations with no joy. I spent a few hours doing this. I wrote down the combos I tried. I could not figure it out. I finally had enough and quite the project for now. I looked up the reviews and found some helpful information. Apparently there are 2 wiring diagrams on the connector and packaging. A and B. WHAT? So I picked up the project again. I used the B wire diagram. I got my connectors, tools, tester and diagram. I made the connections and tested the wires and Viola! It passed the test. Crazy. So, for us in the USA, we use diagram B. The ASVS12W4 (SensaSwitch) is a premium 600W Manual-ON / Auto-OFF Motion Sensor Light Switch from the Legrand adorne Collection. It is designed in a modern, square aesthetic and finished in gloss white.

I found these worked well. I didn't realize at first that the second multi-switch must the same model, not another model or a simple 3/4 way switch. I also found that the switch didn't work well w/o adjusting the time settings. The switch would either conflict or run into a race condition where both switched switched "off" at the same time and it sent both switches into a non-functioning mode - button didn't work at all. Resetting the switch (manually) or via a power-off, and power-on (breaker) appeared to reset the switches, and both would work once, and then go into a hung mode. Adjusting the timing of the switches via the documentation so that they were not using the default times from the factory, caused both switches to work great. I have experienced some Internet issues and always have had to get a neighbor to access the house to reset modems / switches. Installing this smart outlet, and plugging in one of my switches (PoE), makes it very simple to remotely reset this switch. This is quite a convenience. The Legrand Home + Control app provides me the ability to remotely control my smart outlet, and the PoE switch, thus eliminating the need for anyone to go to the property. One receptacle of the switch is always "on" and the other receptacle is controlled via the Home + Control app...very cool feature. The smart switch with Netatmo starting kit is a good option to start your smart home setup. The installation was breeze. One of the reasons I selected this a starting kit was specific location where use of all three components of the kit (Smart Switch, Gateway and Leave/Home wireless scene control) were perfectly complementing each other. I am planning to further extend this starting setup to more smart switches/dimmers and set additional scenes.
