Additionally, I had some issues when I first received it, and the manufacturer was responsive and walked me through how to fix it, and it was just a connection issue, which is something I should’ve noticed to myself. For a standing desk, there is a very good amount of storage, and I love how easy it is to transition from sitting to standing. Some reviews say the quality is bad, but I think you get what you pay for. Obviously, it’s not a solid wood desk, but the pieces are sturdy and heavy weight. Unfortunately, there is a pretty big gap above the barn doors, and they are fairly loud when you slide them back-and-forth. Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. Instructions were easy to follow and showed how to build it either direction. Sturdy desk that smoothly raises up and down. I like how it allows me to set up to 3 of my preferred heights. Drawers could be a little deeper and the view from the side could be a bit cleaner looking as far as cords. I wish it came in white with a wood top and then it would have been perfect!
