Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. I am so excited about this range hood! As soon as I unboxed it, I could tell it was going to look amazing in my kitchen. The stainless steel finish gives it such a nice modern look and instantly makes my kitchen feel more like a space where I actually enjoy cooking. I love that it comes with both touch controls and a remote. The LED lighting is another feature I'm really happy about because I like having good lighting over my stove when I'm cooking. It even came with extra items like gloves and kitchen towels, which was a nice surprise. One thing I'm most excited about is the powerful suction. Whenever I fry food or cook something with strong smells, my kitchen gets smoky and I usually end up opening windows or cracking the door to air everything out. I'm really looking forward to not having to do that anymore! Knowing this range hood is designed to pull out smoke, steam, grease, and cooking odors gives me peace of mind. I also appreciate that the baffle filters are removable and dishwasher-safe. Anything that makes cleaning easier is a huge bonus for me. This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. Nice unit. Relatively easy to install with 2 people. 1st unit damaged and refunded. 2nd unit better but still some hidden cosmetic damage to the hood. Hood could be thicker metal to prevent this, and QC needs better eyes out the door. Hood fan review Installation was easy but you need small hands to screw in the hood around the fan. The noise of the fan is not as quiet as I thought it was going to be but it will be fine. Don’t love the light location, back against the wall. Tempted to remove a star for that, but at this price point, ... it's fine. Removing all the blue protective film from the baffles was annoying, but what can you do? I haven't installed this range hood yet, but my first impression is outstanding. It looks sleek, modern, and very elegant. The black finish combined with the curved tempered glass gives it a premium look that perfectly complements my new kitchen design. The unit arrived well packaged, and all the parts appear to be of good quality. I chose this model because of its modern appearance and features, and I'm looking forward to installing it soon. This is a work in progress. I’m so far very happy with the quality of this range hood. The look is what attracted me to it. I wanted something modern but not too common. I will need to follow up with more pics after is fully installed. It is quite heavy so I’m reinforcing my ceiling just to make sure it is very secure.
