Overall, this is a really nice Adirondack chair. It came well-packed, and was relatively easy to put together. It took probably about an hour, and, other than one awkward step attaching the back to the base, was doable by one person. The HDPE material is sturdy and high quality, with no rough spots or mottled color. The adjustable recline and footstool option are very nice. The only parts that aren’t great (and the reason for four stars rather than three), is the cupholder is very small, and, no matter how I adjust the back, I cannot get the locking pins to engage. IMO, great chairs! The package and all parts arrived undamaged, parts are well organized in the box with clear labeling, instruction manual is well written with clear/simple drawings, the chair color (light walnut) looks good as advertised, and the chair assembly is painless. First, the included wrench is marginal. IMO, start your chair assembly with a standard wrench - it'll make for a more pleasant experience. Second, I would pre-drill all the screw hole ends to eliminate wood cracking, specifically the seat back (see photo). Use a 3/32" drill bit or smaller on hole ends to prevent wood cracking. This set was very well built and is sturdy after assembly. The teal color we picked wasnt as bright as it looks in the pictures but we like it actually a little better so all is good. Be sure to pay attention of the two table legs that need to be in the middle so that the screw holes are there when you put the shelves on. Some of the pictures in the assembly didnt call attention to that. No matter just had to swap the for inside legs and reassemble it. Besides that all is good and you surely couldnt beat the price!.
