It was easy enough to assemble, but it really helps to have two people. Our complaints are 1) that we have to fuss with the ottomans a little to pull them out, and 2) that it is difficult to move the chairs--they are heavy and all the moving parts move as the chair is being moved. VERY comfortable and great quality. The front edge of the seat is a little sharp but my wife is only 5’2”. At 5’7” I have no problems. Nice and sturdy but if you plan to move it around frequently it is a giant pain because it is very heavy and the arms and back move easily.
