This shelf arrived packaged well with no damage. The instructions were fairly clear and the shelf is quite light making the building experience simple. The only hang up I had was with the back cover, as there are very many small screws and on my product the pre-drilled holes did not perfectly align with the cover's screw holes. This solid wood bookcase is the perfect size for any space. At 32" high, it provides ample storage, but doesn't overpower. We use real wood and screws with plugs in our construction - not MDF, air nails, or Staples. Some minor assembly at home is required; instructions and hardware included. Overall dimensions of 36" W x 10" D x 32" H with three openings that allow for 33"W x 8.5"D x 9.25"H. We do not use highly processed wood, because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.

We are using this as shoe storage in our master closet - it fits nicely under the area with a top hanging clothes rack - we have built ins but needed a little more shoe storage- I like the sturdiness of the real wood and the ability to adjust each shelf height - it really matches our built ins and gives us some extra storage without the costs of of having more custom build ins made- assembly was involved but came with everything we needed except the tools and were easy to follow. I got this bookcase for my daughter's room. She is a book lover and it fit perfectly. Exactly what she was looking for. I assembled it. It took few hours. Loved this Bookshelf. Its very Very sturdy and fits well in my kids room. The Crown molding gives it an elegance that other shelfs don't.
