The directions could have been better, I had to find a YouTube to actually determine how it went together at first. As advertised. Slide in security panel was warped when it arrived and the box was a bit torn in one spot. Not very securely packaged, but I was able to re-form the slide in panel, and make it work. This gate is perfect and has features I didn’t even know I needed! I originally bought a pet gate from another site, that just had the bars, and no plexiglass. Unfortunately, my cat kept trying to shove his face through, and I was worried about him hurting himself. The latch could also be opened if he were to jump up and pull down on it, and the gate had a lot of play in the middle, so it would wobble back and forth. I returned it and got this gate. It took care of all of the issues I had regarding the first one! No more fear of my cat trying to push his face through the bars, the latch is cat proof, and it is much more stable! I didn’t even have to add the bonus hardware half way up to add to the stability. I also love the added feature of the door swinging both ways, as it makes it easier to keep my cat back who tries to get out at times when I am coming through the gate. This is an innovative product in the market compared to regular play pen, it’s made of acrylic panels for clear viewing. Works great as a playpen for dogs to move around, a whelping box for female dog and newborn puppies. It’s clear to keep the room feeling open, easier to setup, 80cm/31.5in tallest in the market, the pups can’t accidentally jump out when you are not looking on them.

This was the perfect size and configuration for what we needed. YOU definitely need a second person to put it together. The directions are not clear as to the panels that go in the place they are needed to be. Also as I wanted the gate on the 'end' it isn't a good place it should open toward a panel, as the position in what I placed it (as noted on the directions) it opens out and has no support and is not a very good design. But overall I would and did highly rate the product itself. Hardware was relatively easy to put in place but I encourage you not to try it alone. We have a puppy that is houdini.
