In the 1960s, when details on the space race headlined the cover of every magazine and the Russian Sputnik satellite inspired a whole movement in futuristic home decor, rod and ball construction really had a moment. They revived the best of that construction and plated this standard in a modern brass finish so that it simultaneously harkens to the past and beckons to the future. Situated atop a clear base, the combination of metal and crystal paired with a cotton drum shade make for a versatile piece that will last for decades to come.

LOVE these lamps! Look great in my bedroom. Love the height and the clear base.. Anonymous. Tue Sep 22 2026

Just as they are pictured and are high quality. The ONE thing I’d change is the chords are dark gray so pretty visible when these lived on a glass table and had to figure out a way to hide them, but the lamps themselves are very pretty and I get lots of compliments on them.. In a champagne-colored glass, it comes as no surprise that our designers were inspired by antique champagne flutes to create the silhouette of this beautiful table lamp. Undeniable elegant, the tall stature is balanced by a slightly tapered faux silk drum shade. With an eye to detail, the finishing touches are crafted with quality and beauty in mind -- chrome plated accents, a crystal ball finial, and a silk-wrapped cord complete the look.

Simply beautiful and elegant. Amanda. Mon Sep 14 2026
