These panels are exactly what I was looking for. I have a massage office that has a drop ceiling, so it’s quite noisy beyond the walls. I wanted to do as much soundproofing as possible and these are a great start. I’ve ordered two sets in different patterns and they do help muffle some sound, especially the sound from my office to the outside, which is helpful for client privacy. My office is located in a busy sports club and close to the locker rooms so these aren’t completely correcting the problem of outside noise, but I anticipate for most other situations they would greatly reduce it. If I had realized just how easy to install these panels would be, I wouldn't have taken so long to put them up. Install was truly a breeze with the provided screws and a power tool. I went for a fun little design on a wall in our dog's room. The only pain point with these panels is that each strip of wood has a plastic film on it that is hard to remove. I guess the protection the film provides during transit is worth it. I'll get around to removing the film, but ended up doing the install with most of the protective film still on there.. Michelle.
