Acorn Outdoor Post Light

Great looking light! Casts a warm glow all around.. Jeff. Framingham, MA. Sat Sep 26 2026

Cast a warm and welcoming glow over your outdoor space with this 1-light lantern head. It has a traditional frame made from weather-resistant and waterproof powder-coated steel, with a burnished bronze finish for a bit of industrial style. The metallic finish blends nicely with other color palettes and styles ranging from modern to rustic. Alabaster glass panels line the boxy shade, diffusing the light from a single 150W bulb. Rated for wet locations, this lantern is safe to keep out in the elements. A bulb, a pier mount base, and a standard 3" diameter post are all sold separately.

I ordered this lantern 03/16/2023 along with a Solus outdoor aluminum Lamp Post and JUST had it installed in my front yard [11/03/]. It's taken my contractor months to get back to help with this and other projects. I love the new lamp but one of the glass panels was broken. We only opened the box just before beginning installation. What is the possibility of replacement glass? We've taped the pane temporarily to complete the lamp assembly.. Eileen. Merced, CA. Glasgow post mount.

Arrived much sooner than expected. Only negative was. The light fixture was missing the ground wire on all pieces and the self tapping screws that were supplied per the directions. Minor details as my installer took care of that but detail is the name of the game. I am a Dr ( surgeon) and i always remember to close my incisions!!!. Anonymous. Tue Jun 13 2023

Heavy cast aluminum. Also, a very thick powder coat of bronze paint. Very happy.. Kent. Upland, CA. Thu Jul 09 2026

Take this one for example: Showcasing a contemporary twist on a classic design, this piece is designed to be perched atop a compatible post (not included). An off-white frosted shade diffuses light from an incandescent bulb up to 100 W (not included), while a wet location rating makes this the perfect pick for brightening up your outdoor arrangement.

With rounded metal frames and cylindrical glass shades, ensuring compatibility with a variety of outdoor aesthetics. Finished in Textured Black or Antique Bronze and wet-rated for durability, the collection includes three sizes of wall sconces and a sleek flush mount, delivering a subtle glow that complements any exterior environment.

I love the lights and they look great! Pictures of old and new. Note: I painted the bulb collar to coordinate with my other exterior lights. Just a couple of small issues: a) the lights came with 3 screws to attach to a post but I need to attach to a pier mount base (Castellanos, which I purchased at the same time) so they don't work. I am in the process of trying to find a way to secure them, and b) there is about 1/4" gap between the glass and the base so water gets in. There are holes in the bottom of the base but it's a flat surface so I think water will stand - trying to find someway to seal it (other than using silicon).. Jana. Salt Lake City, UT. Sat Aug 01 2026
