I wish the wood was one solid slab as opposed to five pieces pressed together, but for the price it has a nice look. The feet you screw on to the bottom make the table look like it's hovering, but you can easily not put them on and have the legs/base pretty flush to the group. Nice table, made of solid wood. Nice coloration is heavy, and works well for our space. Theres a nice metal backing strap below the top holding it together which was nice to see.
