I have several mounted picture lights highlighting my artwork but they are all battery powered or rechargeable. The process of changing the batteries or taking the picture lights off the walls to charge for several hours can be tedious and replacing batteries is expensive. So I decided to try a hard wired one. When I opened it I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy and well put together the dimming picture light was and yet so light in weight at only 1.5 lbs. I’m waiting on an electrician to come and install it and then I’ll be able to judge the illumination quality but I’m sure it’ll be fine. Now I need to figure out the cost difference between battery powered picture lights and electricity powered ones!!! lol. Nicholas. Rockford, IL. Sun Oct 25 2026
