The drawers are deep and they hold a lot of stuff. I opted for the white glove delivery and I’m glad I did. It took two men to put it together and carry it up to our second floor bedroom. The wood color is more reddish brown than the photo. It was initially a bit much, but It’s growing on me. The distressing effect is a bit too heavy, overdone (see the closeup photos).
