Generous size, larger than expected. Soft yet firm cushion top. Fabric feels good, velvety. Ottoman will store two lap blankets nicely. Color of ottoman is the color that I saw online but the description stated BLUE, so I stepped out on a limb and ordered it, hoping it would be blue. It looks green or teal to me. I like the ottomans enough that I am keeping them and have ordered fabric to sew a top to match my existing chairs. The only negative is that the LEGS ARE PLASTIC and with a plastic molded tip. Can't remove the tip like I usually do with furniture legs, so I ordered wood legs online, and they fit perfectly. I searched a long time for a storage bench that would fit at least three or four couch pillows so when theyre not in use I could put them in there and not have my pets ruin them. I also have a short wall, so I needed something not as wide, which is very difficult to find. I love that it came as one piece and I only had to screw on the feet. Also in the pictures on the website the feet look black but theyre actually a very dark brown which I was happy to see. (Ignore my half-painted wall in my pic ...still in progress lol.) Love this ottoman! I needed something for the end of the bed to sit on and store extra blankets. This bench fits perfectly. Reasonable quality but poor color choices for a less than durable fabric covering.... not upholstry quality. Plastic legs. For the price, should be wooden feet with non-plastic washers. Yet this bench holds large bulky blankets inside and lid is well supported to hold people or luggage on top. Should not have been shipped "househd" via FedEx.... too heavy to handle heavy, bulky box since over 45 lbs and 54-inches long when package. Should have been sent freight. Had to place this "non-deliverable" on Hold", then drive 49 miles to collect box at a FedEx location that would hold this shipment for me.
