I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Love the whirlpool. Didn’t think the light in the tub was important but I do enjoy it. Just read the spec sheet before you buy, it needs two gfi to run the light and whirlpool motor. This is a beautiful bathtub. The price is awesome for what you get. I love the shape as it is soft in a very square area in our bathroom. It’s super deep and the husband and I can both fit in it well. It does have a bit of a narrow center so it’s a little tight in the middle with both of us in there, but still plenty of room.
