Summoning the rich history of Greek culture, this early Hellenistic helmet is a functional work of art. Skilled artisans have fashioned this artifact in quality designer resin with a distinctive faux-bronze finish, and showcased it atop an ebony wood museum mount.

This Spartan Helmet took my eye right away! Initially, I thought of both of my sons who love this period of time, but in the end, I kept it for myself! It is made well, but when you first take it out of the plastic wrap it does have an odor, maybe of paint. It looks like a mixture of bronze and black. The size looks comparable to a typical helmet. On its stand it appears to be about 16” high. The big decision is to whether have a frontal view or a side view, showing off the feathers of the helmet. Made of composite in an aged beige finish with random spritzes of antiquing, the ancient Greek torso sculpture masquerades as an artifact.
