I was very pleased with this purchase. First thing I noticed is that all of the hardware (nuts bolts etc.) were painted to match the unit. This was a nice touch as many places just send you shiny silver, or black. This arbor is very well constructed and is a quality piece. It was fairly easy to put together, but you definitely need two people for some of the steps, and at times four people would have been helpful, but we managed with two. All of the pieces fit well together, just remember to not tighten the bolts all of the way until the top section is all together. Our gate is fully forged, which is thicker and heavier than most iron gates on the market. This gate also comes with a bolt hinge for quick lock and mounting posts for easy installation. This gate is a great combination of strength and affordable price!

It is really pretty. Wasn’t hard to assemble. Unfortunately the latch situation others have described in their reviews are true. The latch must have been put on backwards because the gate will NOT stay shut. Any little breeze will open it. I’ll have to figure out a latch that will match it and actually keep it closed.
