Assembled thus far by one person (50+F), waiting on some help to turn it over and put the cover on. Overall assembly moderately easy. Grabbed 6 ft tall husband to help flip it over and put the cover on. A couple of the aluminum tubing sections were pretty rough and didn't want to join together so I had that finagle them a bit. First the good. The Gazebo looks amazing and, for the most part, was easy to assemble. We have a circular shaped patio which made it a small challenge to find a shade structure to cover most of the area as efficiently as possible. A rectangular structure that fit on the patio space would not have covered the space great, a rectangular or square structure would have had to be larger than the patio space requiring some digging to secure the system. The Octagonal design and size of the octagon fits almost perfectly onto the space. Assembly was very easy, fortunately I had a hex bit that fit the screws used for the assembly which saved my wrists from the stress of using the provided allan key. Only two hangups with the assembly, one, the metal roof has a layer of shipping film on both sides which took a few hours to remove from all of the pieces, definitely slowed moment. The second issue is the installation of the brackets that secure the roof could have been more clear, it took some time to get everything aligned so the caps could be installed. Some patience is needed for this portion. Only a couple of issues that prevent the 5 star. One, the unit is not very tall, when fully assembled the entry height is only 76" which we were aware of thanks to the drawings in the listing. I solved this by mounting the gazebo to some blocks that raised the height to better align with the patio steps. The other issue is with one of the pieces, it had a split running almost the entire length of the board and, in sections, appeared on both sides of the piece. I did reach out to the email listed in the instructions, they offered a discount on my total purchase, which I accepted. If I need to, replacing the board wouldn't be an issue for me so I accepted the discount, a replacement piece was not offered. In summary, we are very happy with the unit. It provides much needed shade for a space that receives significant sun from noon until 5PM in the summer. I was told today that the definition "heavy duty" is open to interpretation. this is at best a medium duty frame , it is not difficult to assemble, but it has been opened before & as I have finished building it , putting the feet on & placing the covering, that might be a bit of fussing, tomorrow will tell. The covering is a tarp you can find at Princess Auto 40 dollars, its not a rip stop nylon or in any stretch of the imagination a Heavy Duty fabric, it's a cheap poly tarp , that is the best I can say about it & from experience it will never survive its first Nor 'Easter' no poly tarp I have ever seen has in my life & I am over 60. So If the frame survives I will get a Proper heavy duty covering. Do yourself a favour, buy a frame size you like 2nd hand, then go get a heavy wall welded fireproof scaffold tarp to cover, a tarp like that for a 20 by 10 wide shed will be close to 20 x 30 & cost you 400 dollars you won't have to worry about it for 8 to 10 years..
