I was home with the pergola was delivered. I had my gate open already for the gentleman who delivered he put it exactly where I wanted it and it’s still in the same place. Great kit! Precise cuts, quality hardware and clear, well thought out instructions. The stain appeared to be somewhat thin so I stained every piece prior to assembly, 3 coats. Used Sherwin Williams exterior wood stain. Built on 4" thick concrete that we also stained. Drilled out the supplied post mounting brackets to 1/2" I.D. and used Tapcon 1/2" x 4" masonry anchors, 4 per post to secure structure to slab. We are very satisfied with the finished product.. I like the materials, they seem to be heavy duty. The net I bought is for a 12 x 14 gazebo from Yardistry only issue I ran into was that the net tracks for the long side of the gazebo were not the correct ones, they were longer than the beams where I was to mount them on I ended up having to section about 6 inches of two tracks so they would fit properly. I followed the installation instructions and installed the tracks 2 inches from the bottom of the horizontal beams on the gazebo, and when mounted the nets I noticed there’s about 2-inch gap at the bottom of the net and the floor I don’t know if that’s intended or not. I bought this a couple months ago, we decided to put it up yesterday. We had a lot of problems putting the gable mesh up. The directions said to hold it tight, screw it in. Nothing about where to start placing the screws first (top, bottom, middle, end?) after a lot of trial and error we got the first one up, the second one was easier and the rest of was simple to do. The Hartford Privacy Screen is a stylish solution to enclose, hide, or conceal ugly trash bins or pesky air conditioning units. This DIY kit comes with three unassembled privacy fence panels that can be configured in a U or L shape. Please allow for roughly 90 minutes of assembly and installation time for your Hartford Screen. Once assembled, each individual panel measures 4ft in height by 3.6ft in width. When assembled in a U configuration, perfect for concealing air conditioning units, the total assembled dimensions are 48.5in H x 40.25in W x 43.4in L. If you prefer to use this product to conceal trash bins in an L configuration, the total assembled dimensions are 48.5in H x 86.75in W x 43.4in L. This product was designed with sufficient space between the slats to provide efficient airflow while concealing A/C units and the pre routed assembly holes allow for perfect slat placement. Spacers are included with your purchase that make it easy to assemble the screen’s rails. The no-dig installation is as simple as using a mallet to drive the included rust-free metal ground stakes through the angled brackets and into the ground. Pop on the metal stake caps and you’re good to go. Included decorative post caps are the perfect final touch to complete your screen. The gazebo looks amazing. We bought it for its look and its wind rating. Took about 2.5 days with power tools. Would recommend organizing all the pieces first. Make sure you have the wood pieces and the hardware lined up correctly. Save yourself time from having to redo anything. Squaring is also important.
