It’s an okay fan. It’s pretty small so you have to put it on top of a surface if you want it to fan you while you’re in bed. It is fairly quiet. The cooler packs do work and help it blow cooler air. This efficient machine is just what we needed for our bedroom. It was easy to install. We read previous reviews that said they had to cut the window insert with a handsaw, so we were prepared.
