This lamp is very easy to put together. The only problem I had with it was the shade. It looked flimsy and cheap. I ordered a replacement shade and it looks much better. This is a nice lamp. I love the base that looks like stone. Others mentioned trouble with it being straight. I found that one section kept going together crooked but I just held it very straight and muscled it straight as I screwed it together and I got it to straighten out. It's one of those things where one person will probably get lucky and get it to go straight on the first try and another person might accidentally angle a little and miss. Such a classy, beautiful floor lamp! This lamp has a clean, elegant design and it adds such a polished look to my living room. The base was described as bronze-toned however, I think it leans more toward a wood tone. Either way, as you’ll see in my photos, it works well with both styles.
