This came in an extra large box and was packed with styrofoam very well no dents or damage. This hood range is a beautiful stainless steel and has push button touch screen an is a very high end product unfortunately I didn’t measure correctly and 36 inches was to big for my space…. The only way to mount and make it work would have been to cut or replace mycabinets and I’m definitely not doing that. Next time I’ll measure better. This was apart of a tried an true review.. There are many pros about this range hood. First, it’s heavy duty - far heavier and sturdier than my previous one. Second, it’s all metal, even the filters, and includes a grease trap, which is a big bonus feature. The fan levels are great and it’s much quieter than our previous hood but definitely powerful. So far we are loving this upgrade. We did not use the vent hose it came with but bought an all metal one at our local home store for better greasefire protection. I will say the directions are somewhat lacking, however, if the person installing it knows what they’re doing, it shouldn’t be a problem. I am anxious for the completion of the kitchen remodel. Once the hood is ready to be installed, this will be the perfect insert based upon size. The 800 CFM Range Hood arrived today and it is awesome! I can't wait to get it installed! The dark glass panel with touch control panel is very classy. I love the 2 LED lights will project a nice bright light over the cooktop stove. The range hood seems to be well made. I was able to lift it out by myself (67F). The installation guide/instruction manual is a huge plus. Also included are 2 potholders and 2 nice mitts in a black and white checkered pattern. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet.
