Luckily, I went back to the site where I purchased my set (Wayfair), and discovered that a diecast metal pump was available. Will it last longer than two years? Time will tell. The problem with these pumps is the spring that used. I have my doubts. Came without o ring/ gaskets and will take almost 2weeks to get replacements…meanwhile our pool sits without working pump but no one seems to care about that this is a major problem.
