It's a little fiddly to lay down and you need to be careful when walking on it or laying your flooring as the top layer can catch on your shoes and tear. I haven’t taken it out on a cold weather trip yet, but I’ll be curious to see how it does. I don’t think it’s going to work in the coldest weather on earth, but for those chilly nights at the edge of the season it will do well. I only wish the cord was a bit longer, but that might be good so you aren’t wrapped up in a lot of wires (it depends on what you are plugging it into how long you’ll need, of course).
