The bed itself is beautiful and looks great in my guest bedroom—it feels solid and well-made, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there. As is often the case with Wayfair, the item arrived damaged. The wood had visible dings, screws were missing, and the shipment came in two boxes delivered on separate days, which delayed assembly. I ordered this bed to go with my headboard (also from Wayfair) and it is a perfect color match! However, there are no holes in the bed in order to connect them. No big deal to me, I'll just zip tie them if I have to. So far there have been no issues with sturdiness. The height description is accurate. I wish there had been a 14 inch height option. The top of my mattress sits at about 28 inches from the ground so I feel like I'm a little too high up, but I will get used to it. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions.
