This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. Absolutely fantastic!!! I bought 2 and I’m still adding books to it. Anonymous. Sat Oct 24 2026

This bookcase is designed to be space-efficient while providing you with the storage that you need. This solid wood bookcase features extra generous shelves and is protected with a multi-step, easy-clean, finish that enhances the natural beauty of the grains. The traditional style is beautiful and timeless, lending the perfect touch to any room. Sturdy and durable, this piece is built to last the quality and workmanship you’ve come to expect.

I love this bookcase! It's super sturdy, real wood, which is exactly what I wanted. There is one shelf that is fixed, and the rest are adjustable. I used the fixed shelf to hold my biggest and heaviest books and scrapbooks, which works great. My only complaint is that the measurement in the product photos shows the bookcase is 13" deep, but that measurement is only for the very top of the bookcase which sticks out about an inch more than the shelves. The shelves are actually only 11 7/8" deep. Other than that, it's an excellent bookcase! I also used the Wayfair assembly service, which worked great.. Barbara. TX. Thu Nov 05 2026

Fairly easy to put together. Took me about 1.5 hours. Two shelves arrived damaged/chipped but good quality for the most part.. Antoinette. Mukilteo, WA. Sat Oct 03 2026

This sizable, freestanding etagere bookcase is both industrial and vintage-inspired, a dynamic way to organize any room in your home. It has a crisp, clean-lined open metal frame with X-shaped braces in back for exceptional support. Numerous shelves are crafted from engineered wood with a distinctive finish. These surfaces provide lots of space to hold books, framed photos, and much more. At about 69" wide, this bookcase is a great display area against one wall or a handy room divider. A wall anchor is also included for extra safety and stability.

This is a wonderful bookcase! I love the multi level shelves. Granted our puppies loved one shelf a bit too much, but I think we can replace the wood. It is sturdy and though anchored, I am still able to get a standard plug between the wall and the shelves.. Kathleen. Tue Oct 20 2026

This shelf is really nice. Very sturdy, easy to accessorize and looks great from all angles. Highly recommended for any decor. Easy to put together. It is heavy and we have young grandchildren, so we did secure it to the wall. While it does come with screws to secure it, they were to small safe we got better ones.. Judy. Thu Sep 17 2026

Very sturdy and beautiful in my home office. Very happy with this purchase!. Sierra. Lock Haven, PA. Mon Nov 02 2026

This classic bookcase brings clean organization to your home office or study area. It's crafted from solid wood, highlighting a smooth texture that coordinates effortlessly with various decor styles. The open shelving provides plenty of space to display books, framed photos, or storage baskets while keeping them easy to access. A fully finished back panel adds versatile placement options, letting you position it against a wall or use it to divide your space. It also arrives ready to use right out of the box to save you time.

The color and style are perfect in our bedroom, however the first try arrived damaged and trying to re-box it in the original cut-apart, damaged box was not fun. The replacement arrived about a month after the initial, damaged shelf and is in good shape. This is the second time we have ordered a wood product that arrived damaged. I like the final result this time though. Last time the replacement console table was worse than the first one!. Ruth. Franklin, TN. Sat Sep 19 2026

This standard bookcase brings storage and continuous vertical lines to your home. It's crafted from solid wood for a quality foundation, while fixed shelves provide stable surfaces for books, plants, and accent pieces. Arrived on time! It was easy to assemble and it looks fabulous. Maria. WA. Sat Oct 31 2026

This etagere bookcase brings a clean, modern design to your home with its open-back frame. It's crafted from solid acacia wood and features visible woodgrain for added depth. The vertical silhouette helps maximize storage space without overtaking your floor plan, providing multiple tiers to display books and decorative favorites. Slatted shelves give it a breezy, light look that blends seamlessly with your existing furniture. Plus, the open design makes it easy to access your stored items from both the front and sides.

Beautiful bookcase. Works perfectly for our space. My only complaint is that the cam locks that hold in the top are horribly engineered. Cam locks only work when they're tightly engineered to grip the peg. Ours didn't grip the peg at all, and the top is still loose! It doesn't really affect the structural integrity of the shelf since it just holds the top shelf, but still. There's no reason why the top couldn't have been fastened via machine bolts going through the top into the end grain of the vertical segments.. Marco. Ithaca, New York. Wed Oct 21 2026

Maximize the storage in your home office or living room with this large and functional bookcase. It comes with 6 open shelves—just right for displaying your favorite book collection or documents at your fingertips—and 2 spacious adjustable file drawers for your important files. This 70.9" tall bookcase is made from engineered wood with a neutral finish, so it's sure to complement a variety of color palettes in your modern space. We also love how the large open desktop with outlets provides a convenient option for your home office. Plus, it comes with 2 enclosed cabinets for private items.

Fantastic purchase overall — sturdy, modern, and genuinely functional. It's really pretty in person — the blue is exactly as pictured — and I honestly couldn't be happier with it. I skipped the shelf racks so I could use the space for backpacks, and a full backpack fits inside the closed cabinets, so clutter stays out of sight. It fits perfectly in my 8x8 office, with plenty of headroom above it. A detail I didn't expect to love: the counter has a built-in charging outlet, so my laptop and speaker sit right there, plugged in and ready. I also added Wayfair's assembly service and couldn't be happier: the assembler arrived the same day as delivery and had everything put together in no time. This is the second time I've used Wayfair's delivery and assembly, and both times deliveries arrived right on schedule, with assembly booked as early as the next day. Two for two on great experiences.. Samatha. Redmond, WA. Sun Oct 25 2026

The weathered gray oak finish is distressed to deliberately highlight its age and compliments the basic barn door style with heavy plank tops and timber legs. Sawyers's classic look with rustic wood and authentic hardware has withstood the test of time.

Perfect addition to my office! The sizing is perfect for the 8ft ceiling height in this room. It was fairly easy to put together and took less than an hour. This bookcase was exactly what I hoped for. I ordered 3 and was a bit nervous because another reviewer advised against trying to put multiple cases next to one another because they were reportedly crooked. However, I took a chance and hired someone to assemble them for me and they look fantastic next to one another! The bookcases are heavy and made of sturdy material and add a touch of elegance to my living room. The cherry oak matches my other furniture perfectly. Highly recommend!. Tiffany. Seattle.
