These were easy to install. Really easier than the old-style can lights. The light is very even. I have them on a dimmer switch and have had no problems with it. The stainless steel trim pieces are held in place by tabs. I bent the tabs with my fingers because I didn't want to damage the fixture with pliers. They were hard to bend. It was easy to install with the magnets. The light has more lumens and it came with 3000K color temperature selected. My only complaint is that there were no instructions on how to remove the wires if you wanted to change the connection. I ordered a large number of these fixtures to replace old bulb based fixtures in my house. These look good and work well, if you can get them installed. Unfortunately, the retention springs that are used to hold the light in place within the can are way too stiff. When trying to bend them to position in the clips within the can, the springs snap in half, rendering the light useless, because you can no longer get them installed properly. I have had at least 6 of them snap their spring. Wayfair was nice enough to send out replacements, but I would be very hesitant of buying these. If you do, make sure to wear goggles when installing, because when those springs snap, it can be dangerous with how much tension is on the spring and your face will probably be right next to them..
