Beautiful, very heavy, and solid. Matches perfectly and serves my need for extra cabinet space. I had to pay someone to assemble the island, which I didnt mind. I wish for such a heavy and expensive item, Wayfair would offer full service delivery or at least the option to pay for in home delivery and assembly. The island did have one flaw a chip out of the top corner of the table and someone from the factory or warehouse colored it in with marker. It was small but very noticeable. Sturdy, Cute, and functional. Came well packaged. It took me about 3.5hrs to assemble by myself. You can put it together in 1/2 the time if assembly is your gig. I left the towel rack off and eventually took the side shelf off, because my room is small and honestly I think it looks better. When the leaf is open, it created more counter top than I thought it would. The back is plain and could use some adhesive drawer/shelf liner, which I might do later. This has been a fabulous addition to our kitchen. Assembly was long, but straightforward. We did have an issue with the handle on the trash tilt-out thing.
