I have to say that I am absolutely in love with this fire pit and the table that hides the propane tank. It is well-made and absolutely stunning. It does produce quite a bit of heat even in open areas. The only thing I do not like is that it is very low to the floor. If you were wanting to use it as a table, I would recommend using a riser underneath to lift it off the floor, even like to round cylinder outdoor tables that are maybe 20 inches tall would look cute and some plants underneath I do give it a five star rating and I highly recommend for purchase. Very cheaply made. It's not wood nor is it marble, it is a cast of plaster and fiberbond. The paint job was poor and you could tell it was fake, not to mention the poor craftsmanship. This firepit came undamaged during shipping, I was a little nervous at first as I believe I got the last one in the dark grey color. It worked right away after it was setup. I am excited to use for a party I have this weekend but it looks really nice. I like that it comes with the middle insert so it can be used as a table. I like the modern look of this unit without the "wind glass" but not sure if Ill regret that. I don't think any units in this price range have both the middle insert & the wind glass. It is nice and the price was right. I wish the grey color was a bit darker. It looks the color of an aircraft carrier, a light grey, industrial color. Due to the height of the firepit, the propane tank is not hidden inside. We didn't want the tank just sitting there so we bought the metal silver storage end table and turned it upside down to hide the tank inside of it.
