The legs are solid and substantial The top is thick, and my piece didn’t have any joinery issues at all. It was easy to put together, just read through the instructions beforehand a couple of times. Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. Overall this is a very nice cabinet and with some patients reasonably easy to assemble if you're handy at these kind of things. I will definitely say there are a lot of parts so take your time. The instructions were pretty good although there are a couple of places where a few more detailed diagrams would have boosted my confidence. Overall quality was good and the final product has good fit and finish presentation. One downside of these is the manufactured wood isn't great. I get just a bit of "bumpiness" with the drawers which I attribute to the preinstalled screws not countersinking in quite enough. I attempted to tighten some more but the threads just won't grip enough in the manufactured wood. But this isn't a big deal and something you deal with on <$500 cabinets that aren't at least pine; so you have choices. Amazing product. Very good quality and really worked for me and the purpose I wanted it. The only thing is that I decided to not add the sides pieces since I didn’t need it and wanted this to be in the middle of the kitchen. Also, I wrapped the top of the island with contact paper to match my countertop. Also I like that you can easily move it because of the wheels and it has a very good brake. This fit perfectly in our small kitchen to give us some much needed prep space. The pull out piece gives an extra foot or so of counter when needed and is out of the way when not.
